Traveling along the Cascade Brook, you will be on this shady trail for 1.3-miles each way. The first part of the trail is paved (although it switches to a more rugged path with hills and exposed roots for the second half), yet it is an overall relatively easy hike for beginners or families. This trek can be found in the Franconia Notch State Park, which is located right off the I-93.
