This 1.7-mile trail to the summit of the 2,557-foot peak is a short but steep hike for moderate or experienced hikers. The way up is by a series of stairs, bridges, and switchbacks, so expect to get those muscles working from the very beginning. Once you make your way to the top, the trees will clear, and you will have great views of the Franconia Ridge. Have some lunch and soak in the sweeping views before heading back down the trail.
