You will navigate through the mixed hardwood forest before arriving at the sparkling blue Little Rock Pond, where you can cool off after the hike with a swim. However, you will not work up too much sweat since there is just about a 550-foot elevation gain on the way there. If you choose to spend the night, there are tent spots and lean-to shelters that are available first-come-first-serve.
