This 19-mile bike path runs parallel to the Denton County Transit Authority (DCTA) commuter train that connects Denton with Lewisville, which allows travelers to enjoy the stunning urban views while also getting a bit of fresh air during their journey. As you leave Denton, you will cycle past residential areas and directly over the sparkling Lewisville Lake. This is a popular destination with plenty of fishing and boating opportunities as well as wide sandy beaches. The majority of the trail is flat and paved, which makes this a fun and leisurely ride for commuters as well as cycling enthusiasts.
