Wildflower fields, tranquil ponds, and upland forests are just a few highlights you will see when hiking through this 200-acre park. Depending on your style of hiking, you can choose to take either the 3.6-mile unpaved loop or the 3.3-mile paved path that leads around the nature preserve. Although it is located in the middle of Plano, the park feels like a secluded part of nature, tucked away from the city lights and street noise. It's worth stopping at the observation tower, where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the park below. See if you can also spot some of the resident wildlife, including deer, turkey vultures, coyotes, bobcats, rabbits, or turtles.
