Northshore Trail Details

This trail connects three different parks of North Texas – Rockledge Park, Twin Coves Park, and Murrell Park. It's a moderate out and back trail that extends for 9 miles along the northern side of Lake Grapevine, an 8,000-acre reservoir with swimming, boating, and fishing opportunities. As you trek along the trail, you will have dramatic views over the water, as well as the rocky cliffs that loom over the shoreline. Parts of the trail are shaded by trees, while other parts are open and in full view of the blue sky above. Be mindful of the mountain bikers they use the same trail and can whirl past you at any moment.
