Located just a few miles north of downtown Chicago, this beach is arguably one of the most popular spots for a fun-filled day outdoors. Besides having soft white sand and clear blue waters, there are also numerous shops, restaurants, and rental booths lining the shore. The recently renovated 22,000-square foot beach house also has facilities inside like ATMs, bathrooms, and changing rooms. During the summer, it can be extremely busy on the beach, so it is best to come early to grab a good spot. It is an amazing place where you can spend the day outdoors while enjoying an unobstructed view of the Chicago skyline.
