Wraith Falls Trail Details
This short, easy trail is a pleasant stroll through open sagebrush-studded plateaus and sparse Douglas fir forests to the 100-foot Wraith Falls. The trail occasionally uses the boardwalk system commonly seen in National Parks, and crosses Lupine Creek via a small wooden footbridge before reaching the foot of the falls. Flowing down the worn hillside of Blacktail Deer Plateau, the cascade is small by Yellowstone standards, but popular nonetheless. There are also decent views of Sepulcher Mountain and Electric Peak along the trail, and a wide varitety of wildflowers in the early summer when the falls are at their peak.
