Boasting one of the best views of the Green Mountains, this state park is a must-see for those visiting Vermont. It is situated at an elevation of 2,119-feet near Mount Mansfield and encompasses part of the pass that separates the Green Mountains from the Sterling Range. There is a 3.5-mile long scenic route that winds through the mountain pass, although the beautiful vistas can also be reached by cycling or hiking. Other popular activities include bouldering, cave exploring, and in the winter, ice climbing.
