The base of this sparkling 40-foot waterfall is an oasis in the middle of Mount Mansfield State Forest. Surrounded by steep rocks and giant boulders, this swimming hole is located at the end of a ½ mile trail, although it feels much more secluded than you would think. The waters are clear and deep, and there are numerous places where you can jump off the surrounding cliffs. Just make sure to bring your water shoes the rocks climbing back out can be very slippery and dangerous.
