Connecting the town of Brattleboro to Bennington, this 48-mile stretch of the byway is as historic as it is beautiful. This route follows the path of General John Stark, who traveled this road with his soldiers after returning from the Battle of Bennington. There are many iconic stops along the way that are worth visiting, including museums, state parks, and historic bridges.
