This pool at the base of this waterfall is one of the largest waterfall swimming holes in the state of New Hampshire. While the drop of the falls is not tall, it does have an impressive width of around 45-feet. Because of its location in an open clearing of a forest, it gets a lot of western sun exposure. This means the water is generally warm, and swimming is possible even in late spring or early fall. It is not particularly deep, but the shallow waters are fun to splash around or wade in.
