Providence Canyon Details

As one of Georgias Seven Natural Wonders, “The Little Grand Canyon” is a paradise rich in beauty. The remarkable colors of the sculpted canyon walls and cliffs are nothing short of breathtaking, and you could easily spend all day simply staring up at their majestic size. However, it would be a shame to visit here without going on a hike. There is a 5-mile trail that winds through the park and takes you to the sandy riverbeds of the canyon floor, where you can get close to the orange, red, and pink sandstone walls. It is not an overly difficult hike, although the rocks and rugged boulders can be a little rough for families or elderly hikers.
