Florence Marina State Park Details

Florence Marina State Park is small at 173 acres, but popular among boaters and anglers because of its deep-water marina. The interpretive center there also has a variety of exhibits showcasing the local nature and artifacts from as far back as the prehistoric Paleo-Indian era. Along with boating, the park is a great place to view water birds as well and is close to the Providence Canyon State Recreation Area where visitors can take in the sites of Georgia's Little Grand Canyon.
