This trail takes you to see one of Georgias most breathtaking landmarks the Amicalola Falls. Surrounded by moss-covered rocks and acres of tree-line forests, this multi-tiered waterfall gushes over 729-feet before reaching the glistening pools below. Although you will have great views over the waterfall from the parking area overlook, you will get to see it in all its pride and glory by embarking down this 1-mile trek to the base. It starts with a descent down a flight of stairs before leveling off on the paved trail. There are several bridges and observation decks where you will get to see the stunning falls in action.
