Wawona Campground Details

Located one mile north of Wawona, this diverse campground has 93 standard campsites plus a site for groups and two for horses and riders. The campground is open year-round, although horse sites are available only from April through September. RVs and trailers up to 35 feet in length can be accommodated. Reservations are required from April 17 through October 7. The campground is first-come, first-served at other times of the year (only the 20-site A loop is open October through March). Daily fee is $26 per night ($18 per night approximately October through April). Each campsite has a fire ring, picnic table, and food locker and is near a bathroom with potable water and flushing toilets. A dump station is located nearby on Forest Drive east of Wawona during summer only. Groceries can be purchased at the small grocery store in Wawona, but you'll have to head back to Half Dome Village or Housekeeping Camp if you want a shower. Pets are permitted at this camp, except in the group and horse sites. Campsites 69 and 70 are wheelchair-accessible and reserved for people with disabilities.
