This nondescript and somewhat hidden trailhead is located approximately 1 mile north of Wawona Campground where the road crosses over Mosquito Creek. The trick to finding it is looking for the seemingly random food-storage box located on the western side of the road. This trailhead provides access to Wawona and the Alder Creek Waterfall. There are no restrooms located here.
