Magnolia Springs State Park Details

The day use area of Magnolia Springs State Park sits on what is left of Camp Lawton. The camp was a prison during the Civil War and held approximately 10,000 inmates making it "the world's largest prison." Artifacts that were uncovered from the site are on display in the park's museum and are considered significant finds.
