This roundtrip journey that starts and ends in the town of Millen showcases some of the most iconic landscapes native to Georgia. As you start your 35-mile trip from Millen is the historic town center, you will leave the century-old buildings (like the County Museum, the Jenkins County Courthouse) and head into the tranquil forests, pastures, and farmlands. Do not worry if you do not have time to see all the buildings at this point you can explore them in more depth once you end your trip. One of the highlights along the way is the Magnolia Springs State Park, an ideal place for hiking, cycling, or swimming. Once you get your fill of nature, hop back in the car and make your way back to Millen. Along the way, you will drive past several historic churches, including the third oldest Baptist church in the state (Big Buckhead Baptist Church).
