The Mountain Trail Details

The Mountain Trail was created as part of the 7 Lakes Alliance, an organization created to conserve Maine's lakes and woods. Two main paths are located here sprouting off the original trail, the Great Pond Loop and the Long Pond Loop. Both are well marked and relatively easy jaunts offering views of the scenic Long Pond and Kennebec Highlands. There is also another trail that is planned to be installed sometime in the future, but, for now, hikers and snowmobilers are the main visitors to this mountain.
