Foundry Trail Details
An easy 0.7-mile walk along the pavement, the Foundry Trail is ideal for anyone looking for universally accessible options available to observe some nature. The entrance is possible at multiple points where the trail follows the Androscoggin River. From there it passes onto Riverside Park, which provides glimpses of the river's dam, and traverses the Livermore Falls fields. A nice summertime evening stroll or a more colorful walk in the fall, interestingly, the location is also the site of the first pulp paper mill built in the state.
