Copper Center Details
The Copper Center area encompasses the western region of the park and the Copper River Valley. The area contains the Copper Center visitor center with incredible views of the Wrangell Mountains and the villages of Glennallen and Copper Center. The area hosts substantial day hikes and sport fishing within and outside of the national park and visitors can find most services in the area's towns. A drive into the park is roughly an hour from Copper Center, visitors should consider topping off on fuel and drinking water before leaving the area. There are many options for food and lodging, most commonly near the town of Glennallen.
