Southwest Campground Details
The Southwest Campground is located right next to the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center. This is a great place to camp for those looking for easy, quick access to the Mill Creek trailhead, the Brokeoff Mountain trailhead, the Ridge Lakes trailhead, or the Sulphur Works -- not to mention the visitor center. The campground is open year-round; if visiting in the winter, however, prepare to camp on the snow. No reservations are accepted as the campground is first-come, first-served. Each site costs $16 (or $10 for sites without water) and comes with a metal food locker. There are 21 sites in total. Campground flush toilets are available until mid-October, but there are also 24-hour toilets and water in the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center. Note that this is a tent-only campground. No RVs allowed.
