Lassen Cafe and Gift Details
Located near the southwest entrance to the park inside the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center, Lassen Cafe and Gift is a great option if you're looking to fuel up before the day begins with a breakfast sandwich and a coffee -- or refuel after a big hike with a burger and a beer. Food choices include soups, salads, fruits, sandwiches, and soft-serve ice cream. The cafe has a small indoor seating ares as well as an outdoor patio. You can also pre-order box lunches and, if you have 10 or more people in your group, you can have meals prepared in advance by the cafe. Call 530-595-3555 to order. The hours of the cafe vary year-to-year, but for the most part, the cafe is open at the end of May through September from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In the winter, hours are limited to 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends only, and in the spring daily hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please call to confirm hours and dates, as some years with heavier snowfall can push these dates later.
