Mill Creek Falls Trail Details
With a drop of around 75 feet, Mill Creek Falls is the tallest waterfall in the park. Low elevation and easy access make the trail to the falls pretty popular, especially in the spring and summer. Start at the trailhead at the Southwest Campground and wind through a red fir forest. The trail climbs a steep hill before traversing an open slope that offers views of Mt. Diller. Follow East Sulphur Creek before descending to the overlook at Mill Creek Falls. You can continue on the trail here to pass Crumbaugh Lake, eventually ending at the Kings Creek Picnic Area (this requires a steep, 750-foot climb). Or, turn around at the overlook and head back to the trailhead to for a 3.8 mile roundtrip hike.
