Snow Pass Trail Details
This popular trail ascents over some steep grades to Snow Pass, an early park road that offers amazing views of the Gallatin Range, before leveling out around the picturesque Glen Creek. Passing through the uniquely named jumbled boulders of the Hoodoos, old limestone deposits that are home to a colony of marmots, or "rockchucks," as they are affectionately called, the well-maintained trail provides a good look at the Mammoth area and it's varied flora and fauna. Moose, bison, black bears, and grizzlies all inhabit the area, and are often spotted along this trail.
