Gardner Canyon Details

The steep canyon cut by the Gardner River is a good place to spot some of Yellowstone's bighorn sheep. As you drive the road from the North Entrance and Roosevelt Arch to Mammoth Hot Springs you'll pass through the Canyon, which is the lowest point in Yellowstone National Park.
