Known as "Little Washington" when compared to the nation's capital, the town of Washington, Va., is a National Historic Landmark with well-manicured streets and businesses. Washington has many options for lodging and dining close to the park, hosting several B&Bs, lodges, and inns -- some dating back as early as 1837.
