Lewis Mountain is a centrally located campground, picnic area, and camp store. Located at mile marker 57.5 and open from early April to early November, Lewis Mountain is a great place to stop during a tour of Skyline Drive or to set up camp for a few days. There are cabins available to rent as well as 31 first-come, first-served campground sites available for $15 per night. The Lewis Mountain picnic area and camp store opens and closes with the campground. The camp store is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the spring, summer, and fall.
