The Milam Gap Trailhead has a parking area adjacent to the Mill Prong Trail, a popular hike to access Rapidan Camp. Park in the Milam Gap lot, then cross the drive. The trail picks up on the other side of the crosswalk. Located at mile marker 52.8, the trailhead parking area also grants access to the Appalachian Trail.
