Shelburne Farms Details
Established in 1886, this 1,400-acre farm is still thriving to this day. The architecture of the main building is particularly noteworthy and one of the best examples of Gilded Age architecture from the 19th-century. The farm currently produces dairy products (specifically cheddar cheese) from the 125 purebred Brown Swiss cows roaming the lands. The property also has nature trails, a restaurant, and an inn for overnight guests.
