The sparkling blue bay is not the only fascinating thing you will see when you visit this park. This 104-acre area is also a natural habitat for birds both migratory and native. In the winter, you will see different types of waterfowl, including Canada Geese, Mallards, and Buffleheads. Year-round resident species include Herring Gulls and Great Black-backed Gulls. And do not forget to keep a lookout for the rare Caspian Terns or Snow Geese. Only a few of these have been spotted flying around the area.
