Charlotte Park

Often overlooked for more popular birding areas near Charlotte, this park should be at the top of your list for wildlife. Common species include Canada Warblers, Blue-headed Thrashers, Northern Harrier, and Red-Tailed Hawks, although dozens of other birds have also been seen in this area. It is one of the less-visited destinations, even for avid birdwatchers, so your chance to spot something that has not been logged here is incredibly high.
