Dog River Details
This river is one of the most underrated places to go swimming. Also referred to as “the Jacuzzi”, this swimming hole sits at the base of a small 4-foot waterfall in the middle of the stream. It is a great place to hang out and enjoy the sunshine while being surrounded by towering hemlocks and hardwood forests. Although you likely will not see too many other visitors, there might be a few fishermen casting lines into the river looking for trout.
