Vermonts capital building is a magnificent architectural masterpiece. Although the original statehouse was built in 1808, the current building is the third iteration, although many of the interior rooms have been outfitted to represent the style of the late 19th-century. The building is mostly used by the legislative branch, although it is also open to the public for tours throughout the year. You will be able to see the legislative chambers, the Cedar Creek Reception Room, the Hall of Inscriptions, and even the Governors office.
