With 8-miles of flat, paved trail, this ride from Queen City Park Road to Winooski River is a great all-around trail for all levels. Although most of the trail was completed in 2017, some areas are still under construction, although the entire journey is clean, landscaped, and well-maintained. This trail is part of the longer 13.8-mile Island Line Rail Trail, which continues down to South Hero. It snakes along the Lake Champlain shoreline, allowing you to access several parks, town centers, and residential neighborhoods along the way.
