Lava Point Details

A side road off Kolob Terrace Road leads to this Zion Canyon overlook. There's a primitive campground here, as well as the trailheads for the Wildcat Canyon trail and the pleasantly downhill West Rim hike into Zion Canyon. The campground is open May to October and has six campsites.
