Sawmill Spring Trail Details

Accessed via the West Rim Trail, this short, easy side trail leads to the pretty Sawmill Spring area. After a quick descent down a small, forested hill, the trail opens up in a picturesque meadow studded with yucca, elkweed, pink penstemon, and desert marigolds, and the spring itself. The spring is a popular water source, but the water must be treated prior to consumption.
