Murphy Point Details

Murphy Point Trail is a 3.4-mile roundtrip along a narrow promontory to a peaceful viewpoint. Located in the Island in the Sky, follow this flat trail to the endpoint for dramatic sunrise and sunsets and 270-degree views. Named after the Murphy family that raised cattle in the area 100 years ago, the trailhead is a jumping-off point for several hikes including a roundtrip hike down to the White Rim Trail.
