Green River Overlook Details
Situated in the middle of the Island in the Sky District is the Green River Overlook just west of Mesa Arch. Easily accessed by car, this lookout is a classic photo spot, especially as the sun is setting. Almost as gorgeous as the Grand View Point and slightly less crowded, this is a good choice for those with limited time. From this vista on the edge of the Island in the Sky mesa look down 1,500 feet to the surrounding basin. Views extend up to 100 miles on clear days. That's a lot of canyon country!
