Caddo Lake State Park Details

Bald cypress trees draped with Span­ish moss scattered amongst a maze of slow-moving bayous, this park is a paddlers wonderland. It's believed that Caddo Lake was the result of a massive log jam on the Red River which backed up the river and created what is now known as Cypress Bayou watershed. Visitors can rent a canoe and explore the over 50-miles of paddling trails on Caddo Lake which are accessible from the park. There are numerous hiking trails available that explore the unique forest. Fishing is available from the pier or via your own boat. There are 46 developed and primitive campsites available for overnight camping.
