Fossil Bone Exhibit Details
The Fossil Bone Exhibit is a 0.3 mile lightly used trail that is great for all skill levels. In underwent a "renovation" of sorts in late 2015 to better showcase the park's unique and amazing collection of Cretaceous era fossils. Not only will this be a great place to see wildflowers and to explore the desert floor, but now there will be over 35 Cretaceous fossils to see and better understand the long history of this area and the creatures that used to call it home. You can access the Fossil Bone Exhibit off the road just eight miles north of the Panther Junction Visitor Center.
