Dugout Gulch Trail Details
This seven-mile "botanical trail" meanders through birch, ironwood, and hazelnut trees. You are also likely to see rattlesnake fern, common Solomon's seal, Canadian Enchanter's nightshade, oval-leaved milkweed, rosy sedge, meadow sedge and fox-tail sedge as you hike. The trail gains 1,800 feet and is open to hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders. The trailhead is located off of Highway 863, approximately five miles south of Beulah, Wyo.
