Indian Creek Trail Details
Following an old road for its duration, this pleasant trail winds in and out of a sunny forest filled with wild rhododendron, sugar maple, white pine, and yellow birch. The trail follows Indian Creek until its convergence with Queen Branch, named after a family that lived in the area until the 1920s when it became part of the National Park. It then passes four pre-park homesteads, which have since degraded to mere clearing surrounded by old chestnut and walnut trees, before reaching the cascading waters of the 25-foot Indian Falls.
