The second-largest island in the Isles of Shoals is 46-acres of paradise for birdwatchers. Over 250 different species have been spotted here over the last few years, including a number of migrators that fly south for the winter. This island is the single best place in the state to see Lazuli Buntings and Western Wood Peewees. And in the fall, it is possible to see King Eider, White-eye Vireos, Clay-colored Sparrows, and Yellow-headed blackbirds.
