Otokomi Lake Trail Details
Otokomi Lake is a low-elevation cirque lake surrounded by reddish mountains. To get there, you'll hike along the southern slopes of Otokomi Mountain where you can look down into a gorge in the Rose Creek valley below. You'll pass a series of small waterfalls you can see from the trail as they drop into Rose Creek. Others you'll only be able to hear along the way. The lake is situated in an area known as the Rose Basin. Remember, Glacier is grizzly country. Carry bear spray, make noise and travel in groups. Access is via the Rising Sun Trailhead.
