Each bus seats 16 passengers in close bench seating, preserving its historic character. Available June 20 through September 25, 2026, this 2.5 to 3.5 hour tour highlights the best of Glacier alpine scenery in a time efficient format. The journey begins near St. Mary and Rising Sun, traveling along St. Mary Lake before ascending the famed Going to the Sun Road to Logan Pass at the Continental Divide. After taking in the sweeping mountain vistas, the route returns to the open prairies and flowering valleys of the eastern slopes. Morning and afternoon departures are offered from St. Mary area lodges and select guest only campgrounds, including Rising Sun Motor Inn. Adult and child rates vary by pickup location.
