No Name Lake Trail Details

Don't let the name of this lake fool you into thinking it's not significant enough to visit. No Name is a deep aquamarine lake situated under the walls of Pumpelly Pillar, a large, glacially carved, cone-shaped rock. You can start this hike from the North Shore Trailhead in the Two Medicine Lake Campground, or you can shave off about 4 miles from your trip by taking a boat shuttle across Two Medicine Lake. The lake is small and peaceful, and a great place to rest while looking up at the surrounding mountains. Remember, Glacier is grizzly country. Carry bear spray, make noise and travel in groups. The trailhead is at Two Medicine Lake campground or access at the boat dock at Two Medicine Lake.
