Logging Lake Trail Details

This trail starts in the woods following Logging Creek and eventually takes you through several burned areas and parts of Glacier National Park that don't see a lot of human traffic. You won't get much in terms of views of mountain peaks until you arrive at the lake. At the lake shore you'll get views of distant mountains, and might also witness bald eagles and other wildlife. Be respectful and try not to disturb the birds and animals. Remember, Glacier is grizzly country. Carry bear spray, make noise and travel in groups. The trailhead is via Inside North Fork Road, also known as Glacier Route 7, near the Polebridge Ranger Station.
