Led by knowledgeable driver guides, this full day tour combines wildlife viewing, alpine scenery, and classic park history while traveling in one of the oldest touring fleets still in operation. Each bus seats 16 passengers in close bench seating, offering an authentic historic ride. Available June 20 through September 20, 2026, this 8 hour tour begins with a scenic drive over Marias Pass and a wildlife stop at Goat Lick. The route continues west to Lake McDonald Valley, where guests may enjoy an optional lunch stop at Lake McDonald Lodge. From there, ascend the famed Going to the Sun Road to Logan Pass at the Continental Divide, then descend into the St. Mary Valley with a stop at the iconic Wild Goose Island overlook. The day concludes with sweeping views of prairie and mountain landscapes on the return to East Glacier. The tour departs from Glacier Park Lodge in East Glacier, with morning departure and late afternoon return. Lunch is not included. Operating dates, schedules, and pricing are subject to change.
